- Pit Bulls Love helps Pit Bulls in animal shelters...there is a big problem with overpopulation there are puppy-mills that will over breed dogs for money...when you buy from a pet store you money goes to these puppy-mills and they will breed more dogs....this is a big problem when there are approximately 1.2 million dogs killed every year in our shelters just because they did not have a home.......please adopt don't shop
This ignorance needs to stop breed specific legislation needlessly punishes all pit bull owners and is largely report not to actually make communities any safer.
The people that make these decisions to enact Bsl need to understand there are millions of Dogs that look like Pit Bulls that never do anything wrong but pay the price.........................

Pit Bulls are many breeds ans mixed breeds that have a nick name "Pit Bull' all of these dogs are put under the same category but when tested for aggression the "American Pit Bull Terrier" had a 87.4% passing rating as The Golden Retriever that most people love and trust had a 85.4% passing rating...Pit Bulls scored higher...both are great dogs but wanted to show you that "Pit Bulls" are no more aggressive then any other dog.....and that is the truth
Educate don't discriminate
There are many forms of discrimination its sad to think that command was in 2012 and 270 Dogs that looked like Pit Bulls lost their lives. Today this still happens there are modern Cities like Montreal that ban Pit Bulls just from reputation and not facts. Many innocent lives are lost.

Pit Bulls pay the price from stereotype that is biased toward generalizing and condemning an entire breed based on the actions of a few bad people. The truth is that each dog should be evaluated by his own merits and not by their breed.
